It's Been Awhile

Not too much to write about really. Soowan is still unemployed, but in all honesty it has been nice to have him home. Now don't get me wrong, I don't want my husband to be unemployed too long! The kids love having their Dad home. Amanda is finally saying "Dad" and we both know it's because he's home. Not that Soowan worked and traveled a lot before, it's more that he would usually be off to work before Amanda was up in the morning and by the time he got home, bedtime for Amanda was usually a couple hours or less away. Now that Soowan is home she has become a real daddy's girl! Soowan is loving every minute of it! It's so cute to witness their relationship blooming, and to be honest gives me some breathing room in the early afternoons. Things will sure be interesting around here once Soowan does go back to work.

Micah is enjoying every minute of having a waterproof cast. Our guy is back in action and has been in the pool everyday this past week and a half. This cast is a lot more comfortable for him and convenient for all of us. We no longer have to help him shower, get dressed as far as snaps, buttons and zippers. For a 9 year old it's a bit embarrassing to ask Mom or Dad to help with these kind of tasks.

Micah goes back to the Doctor next week and they will do another x-ray. If things look good he will not need another cast put on. He will need to do 2 weeks of PT to strengthen the muscles, and take it easy for a while because he will be at risk of re-breaking the bone. This is going to be interesting trying to keep Micah from not being a rough and tumbly boy... It seems rather impossible really.

Hopefully the next time I post it will be that Soowan has found a new job. Soowan is to hear back from a few companies this week about an offer. Prayerfully they will come through.
